Yes, this place rocks. We've never had a bad meal, and this is after probably 50+ visits over the past 3 years. The combination fajitas are HUGE and great tasting. The taco's are great with the white cheese. My wife loves the huge margarita's that cost little... the kids love the chips and salsa and the quesadillas. Great food, great prices.. family friendly... can't beat it.

This place is an acquired taste, if you are used to the traditional Mexican Resturant taste then this place is not for you. However if you were searching for that unique atmosphere and taste then this is the place for you. Very affordable specials daily and great selection at the bar.

Place isn't fancy but it's good food at not a bad price. Had a $30 groupon for $17 and spent a couple hours chatting over chips, salsa and beans and quick service. I would eat here again.

One of my favorite places to eat in general and for sure one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! GREAT food and drinks for the adults but still good for families. I like the atmosphere and decorations. The staff are nice.

This particular Cancuns is not recommended. The chairs were sticky and one of them was so wobbly that we were afraid to use it. The wait staff is not friendly and the decor is tacky. They do being chips and salsa. The drinks were never refilled. The menu is huge and seems to cause confusion for the staff. I ordered the "quesadilla special" and it was a small store bought taco shell with a little chorizo and cheese. The shell was so small I could only cut it into two wedges. The rest of the plate was piled with lettuce and salsa. It felt thrown together. It was snack size. Definetly not a dinner portion as ordered. It was almost $10. My 4 yr old had fries and chicken fingers and the portion was huge for $5. We finished our meal and waited over 20 mins for the bill and there were only 3 other tables being served. We asked for a box for the over abundance of chicken fingers and fries. It took almost another 10 min to come back with the box. After our waiter served us he sat at a booth and never returned. We had to ask others who walked by to help us.

A favorite for the entire family. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the margaritas are massive! :) Great atmosphere for the entire family. Love the more exotic dishes. Sure you can have a taco or chimichanga (admittedly, I get the chicken chimi quite often), they offer some more exotic dishes as well. Feeling brave? Try the molcajete! The perfect combination of heat, variety and flavor. Spicy, but enjoyably so. Would've been 5 stars, but the salsa, which I believe is made in-house, is inconsistent. On most days, it's wonderful! Others, mas o menos. Still, I'm a fan and highly recommend Cancun Mexican Grill in St. Johns.
